Please join us for a night of Jazz on June 23, 2019. Rather you want to get up and show off your moves or just relax and let the music move you, it’s bound to be a night to remember. We will be in our Bay Room located inside our Main Field House (14700 Evers) at 4:00 p.m. to at 10:00 p.m. Light Refreshments will be included in the fee along with a cash bar. Arrive early because seating is limited. Performances by D’vu & RBJ Production Robert Burks & HTB Band -Keith Jackson of the Jackson Family (Michael Jackson’s Cousin) Rick Allen of the Temptations.
Children ages 5-13 are invited to join us for 10 weeks of ultimate fun and recreation with our educational and entertaining Summer Camp. Our camp provides an active program filled with field trips, activities, swimming, sports, and crafts on a weekly basis. We provide a safe environment in which campers can create wonderful memories and friendships. It’s a place where new and challenging adventures are undertaken with guidance and encouragement.

Please join us June 1, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 721 Engle Street as we let our kites soar high in the sky. This is a FREE community event filled with FUN, FOOD, and FESTIVITIES. The first 40 children to arrive at the event will receive a free kite. There will be contest held and prizes given for “Coolest Design”, “Longest Air Time”, and “Furthest in the Air”.
Please join the Student Conservation Association (SCA) and the Dolton Park District in planting 64 native trees on Friday, May 24th! Planting will take place in the park south of the Dolton Park District Building at 721 Engle St, Dolton!
WHEN: Friday, May 24th, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Registration beginning at 8:30 a.m., kick-off at 9:00 a.m.
WHERE: Park in the lot north of the Dolton Park District Building. Look for the Student Conservation Association work truck and trailer as well as the blue pop up tent!
WHAT: Volunteers will plant, mulch, and water native trees.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
PROVIDED: All project supplies (tools, gloves, etc.) are provided. Drinking water will be available throughout the event.

Mother and Son Figures of all ages enjoy an evening just for you! On May 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Shaw Recreation Center (715 Engle Street), there will be dancing, games, and crafts to enjoy together. The music will be fun tunes that are appropriate for all ages and tastes. This evening will be about you and your special mother/son bond. A professional photographer will be onside with reasonably prices photos to take home at the end of the night.
Dolton Park District is Going Green in 2019 and we want you to participate. Please join us on May 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m as we host our Annual Community Business Brunch. We will be discussing our Green Initiative as well as upcoming developments within the park district. We hope to see you there ready to network with other businesses over a delicious brunch.
Please join us for our annual Spring Egg Hunt Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12 p.m. Children ages 12 and younger are welcomed to participate. The Spring Egg Hunt will take place at 721 Engle Street Dolton, IL 60419. This event is free to the public. We ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes early to receive instructions.
Please join us April 19-20, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. for a Tween Empowerment Sleepover. This is a safe, fun, and supervised space for girls to gather in their onesie to discuss communication skills, decision making, self image, social media etiquette, cyber bulling, and educational goals. Young ladies will enjoy inspirational movies, manicures, pizza and popcorn, a parent – daughter breakfast, and much more. Young ladies ages 11 to 13 are welcomed to attend.

Guest Speaker Latonya Williams will speak on how to train your passion and hobby into a profit. This is a fun interactive workshop that will teach you how to own your own business.
