APRIL 9th UPDATE

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, including guidance from medical professionals, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), Illionis Department of Public Health (IDPH), National Recreation and Park Association (NPRA), and Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD).

While the Dolton Park District’s mission is to provide recreation and leisure opportunities for the health and wellbeing of the community, it saddens us to report that our facilities will be closed until further notice.

The Dolton Park District Board of Commissioners are taking this situation seriously and feel it would be in the best interest of the residents and community we serve by extending the closing of facilities to minimize the opportunity for the coronavirus (COVID-19) to spread throughout the Dolton Park community.

As a result, all April programs are suspended, events postponed, and rentals cancelled and refunded. We strongly encourage everyone to follow the Stay-At-Home order and only leave their homes when absolutely necessary.

We have diligent employees working remotely to assist with questions and concerns regarding rentals, programs, and events. We ask that you please send detailed emails to contactus@doltonparkparkdistrict.org and allow at least 24 hours for a response.

We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
